We can do better
A lot of diversity is still underrepresented in the literary sector and the stories it produces. We think we can do better. Whether you’re a librarian, an illustrator, a publisher or an organizer of literary events, you can share this commitment. Together we aim to create an inclusive book world, all the way from author to reader. Your contribution, large or small, can make a difference.
This platform is an initiative of the project Every Story Matters, which aims to embed inclusivity in the literary sector through a series of initiatives. There have been library and school workshops, a talent development programme, and B2B meetings to promote inclusive stories in children’s and young adult literature. Every Story Matters is co-funded by the European Union’s Creative Europe programme.
